Buildings as material banks – A pathway for a circular future

After more than three years of hard work and progress in the framework of the H2020 Buildings as Material Banks (BAMB) project, the BAMB Consortium invites you to join in a three-part final event, Buildings As Material Banks – a pathway for a circular future, to be held in Brussels on 5-7 February 2019, which will focus on circular economy in the building/construction sector.
The event includes:
- an industry day at Brussels Environment (5/2/19) as an opportunity to share BAMB tools & results with all innovation enthusiasts, stakeholders and industry players, and to celebrate cutting-edge practices through interactive sessions;
- a site visit (6/2, in the morning) as an opportunity to see the BAMB approach in action at the BAMB pilot Circular Retrofit Lab on the VUB campus, which investigates and demonstrates how Reversible Building Design can prevent demolition waste when refurbishing heritage buildings;
- a two-day research conference (6/2, in the afternoon, and 7/2). The BAMB research days are part of the prestigious SBE19 Conference Series for researchers & industry experts on the topics of advanced innovative technologies & methodologies for the built environment.
