ICE arrests 50 illegal migrants in one day on felony charges

Immigration and Customs Enforcement obtained and executed 50 criminal arrest warrants for illegals accused of felonies on July 23, the agency said Thursday.

"The warrants are related to ICE’s Title 8 authority over non-citizens who threaten public safety and have previously been removed from the United States," according to an ICE.

The arrestees included:

ICE reported that in fiscal 2023 having arresting 73,822 non-citizens with criminal histories. The arrestees reportedly had 290,178 associated charges and convictions with an average of four per individual.=

Offenses included 33,209 assaults; 4,390 sex and sexual assaults; 7,520 weapons offenses; 1,713 charges or convictions for homicide; and 1,655 kidnapping offenses, ICE reported.
